• Wingclips: A unique site in that it offers the ability to download medium resolution clips for free and use them in church settings. The quality is limited and most clips are short but it is a good way of checking out firsthand video clips mentioned in other sites.
• Youth Specialties: Includes a full programme of activities and questions built around each movie.
• The Source: Not quite as up to date but clip details and discussion questions are provided FREE!
• Hollywood Jesus: Lots here, from movie reviews to spiritual insights and quotes and all of it FREE!
• Literature, Arts and Medicine Database: Clips not identified but a useful synopsis of each movie along with associated themes and all FREE. Use the menu on the left to navigate to a list of movies (Film/Video Annotations under "Performing Arts") or to serach for themes.
• Movie Ministry: This costs US$69.95/year (ouch!) for full description of illustrations but you can get a movie synopsis, themes and Bible verses FREE. Very up to date.
• Pluggedinonline: A Focus on the Family site FREE to browse giving a thorough overview of plot, spiritual content and areas of concern.
• Ministryblue: (No.. its not what it sounds!) Quotes from movies grouped by theological relevance. FREE.
• The Damarius Trust: The "Film" link in "CultureWatch" section of this site contains FREE articles and study guides for a wide range of movies.
• Textweek: Movies are grouped according to themes with links to a whole range of informative sites for each. FREE.
• Film Education: A UK site that has FREE downloadable study guides for use in schools. The studies are of course secular but provide a starting point to create your own Bible studies.
